Katie and Brad didn't get home from Brixton until almost 5:30 AM! It took them over three hours to get home by various buses. So, needless to say, they weren't up and about very early. While they slept, Gord and I went for a walk through Holland Park and ended up on Lansdowne Road looking for the former Landsdowne Recording Studios. We didn't have an exact address and, besides, it closed some time last spring. We walked home via the Portobello Road Market and purchased a few items en route, including a set of silver salad servers (try saying that five times quickly!).

Mid-afternoon Katie and Brad walked over to Kensington Palace, and upon their return the four of us made our way to an Indian restaurant in Mayfair called Tamarind that was recommended in a couple of books, one of which was the Zagat guide. It was good, but certainly didn't merit the high accolades. Surprisingly enough, I have yet to eat a superior Indian meal here this trip. There is a Gujarati restaurant that I'm hoping to try, but it is somewhere in Zone 3 or 4, northwest of us.

Spent a quiet evening home. Katie and Brad have only two full days left and a very ambitious schedule planned. We'll see if they can fit it all in.
